NATIONAL CENTER FOR FACULTY DEVELOPMENT & DIVERSITY (NCFDD)
The University of Utah is an institutional member of the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD). The NCFDD is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of faculty, postdocs, & graduate students from over 450 colleges and universities.

FACULTY WELLNESS SUMMIT & FAIR
This event kicks off the academic year with information regarding a variety of resources on campus designed to support faculty wellness and community building. Come learn about affinity groups, physical health, mental wellness, campus recreation, campus leisure resources, and more!

RETREAT TO RECHARGE FELLOWS
The goal of this mini-fellowship is for faculty to think of ways they can recharge themselves outside of academia. These fellowships are focused on anything but work and fellows will share with the rest of the campus what they learned and any tips or strategies that might be useful for others to similarly recharge.

CAREER & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WEEK
This event offers a full week of workshops on a variety of topics, including (but certainly not limited to), Developing Priorities, Creating Opportunities, Managing Relationships, Becoming a Leader, Being Resilient, Managing Productivity, How to Interview, Tools for Managing a Team, Tools for Leadership, and Path of Learning. The Office for Faculty Development in Health Sciences offers this event for all faculty—from both health Sciences and Main Campus.
