About this Event

The 2024 Faculty Soiree took place on Wednesday, September 4th from 5pm - 7pm at the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House. All new Faculty from Main Campus and Health Sciences hired after 9/7/23 were invited to attend, along with their department chairs. Welcome remarks were provided by Provost Mitzi Montoya and AVP Angie Fagerlin.

The event had a distinct rootin' tootin' vibe that added a whole lot of fun to the evening! With the charming country-themed decorations setting the stage, and the scrumptious food and drinks provided by GoodDay Catering, it was hard not to feel the festive spirit! The country music playlist really got the good times rolling, and there was even cornhole!

We hope new faculty left feeling welcomed, celebrated and connected to their colleagues.
