Leadership Support & Development

NEW ADMINISTRATORS WORKSHOP & RETREAT
Each summer, new Department Chairs, School Directors, Associate Deans, and Deans gather for a three-day workshop & retreat designed to jump start their leadership roles. The event includes “how-tos,” theories of leadership, resources, strategy sharing, and cohort building. Leaders from across campus participate in panel discussions and give presentations, while attendees also have time to interact in small groups and reflect on their own choices as leaders.

From information new chairs need right now to solutions to vexing problems all chairs face perennially, this series aims to help all chairs be successful. Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month and run from 12:00pm - 1:30pm. Lunch will be served.
