University of Utah Health offers a Leadership and Career development seminar that is open to main campus faculty.
The Leadership and Career Development Seminar (LCDS) is designed to support the development needs of faculty throughout the stages of their career. The program is divided into three seminars, matching the career and leadership development needs of the three career phases. The LCDS programs are meant to be complementary to three professional coaching programs, which are also aligned with three career stages.
The three parts of this seminar will focus on:
- Part 1: Managing Self
- Part 2: Managing Teams
- Part 3: Managing Change & Organizations

NCFDD
The University of Utah is an institutional member of the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD). The NCFDD is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of faculty, postdocs, & graduate students from over 450 colleges and universities.
