Each summer, new Department Chairs, School Directors, Associate Deans, and Deans gather for a three-day workshop & retreat designed to jump start their leadership roles. The event includes “how-tos,” theories of leadership, resources, strategy sharing, and cohort building. Leaders from across campus participate in panel discussions and give presentations, while attendees also have time to interact in small groups and reflect on their own choices as leaders.

This year we will invite two prominent thinkers on higher education leadership to speak with the deans and other campus-wide academic leaders about various topics of interest to the group. If you would like to hear about a particular topic or from a particular person, please let us know!
